Our First Plantings
Alain went to the annual Fedco sale and came back with two pear trees, a Japanese lilac, two grape vines, and a cherry tree (plus a lot of organic non GMO seeds). We have now planted the trees and vines and are watering faithfully. They look so small.
And one day we hope to have pears like these. Our neighbor grows them and, … so can we!
Have Land. Need Home. Maine.
Too many house visits to count. Too many that were all wrong. A few we almost bought. Thank goodness we did not. Land it is! We now have it. 34.5 acres of projects for the future. We need a house, a farm and everything that goes with it. Excited? Yes. Overwhelmed? Of course! Below is our home site and view of land. Hard to capture. Leaves are on the way.
