Ciao Italia. Au revoir Paris.
Ciao Italia. You were kind to me in many ways, even if it was not with the weather, which is now lovely, now that I am gone.
And Paris, cette fois ci, you were indulgent, and beautiful. Thank you. So many days of perfect sunny spring weather, who could have asked for more.
I will miss you both. I will be back, soon.
A presto. Now it’s time to build a house!
Paris. Italy. Maine. Spring.
Paris was great, and Italy is wonderful. I continue to enjoy the spring and the sun although bad weather is on the way to Italy. Luckily, even bad weather is still enjoyable in Italy. Soon I will be back in Maine where spring is coming, we hope. The recent snow is not reassuring.
Although I am away, house advancement continues. We have a floor plan. We are pricing out the house. The road will start when the thaw occurs (ummm sometime in the near future?) and the electricity and cable can go in. Then, with some luck, the house work will begin. When you ask? Soon, we hope. Fingers crossed.
Spring in Paris. Spring in Maine.
I’m back in Paris. Spring is here. Lilacs are blooming and for sale on street corners. Flower shops are full of tulips and ranunculus. Strawberries, peas and asparagus are in season. Outdoor cafe tables are full of happy Parisians. Life is good. As soon as I am back in Maine, I can look forward to a second spring with more lilacs, flowers, asparagus, peas and strawberries. Maybe not the outdoor cafes . . ., but I will have the ocean to comfort me.
Have a lovely weekend.
